How does the library work?
How does the library work?
First, have you joined our squad on Facebook? We’re a really supportive community to help you succeed on your cloth nappy journey! We can support you in our fortnightly face to face meetings in Stafford, through a 1:1 mentor or the online group.
Now decide what kit will work best for you. If you need help with this please reach out either by contacting us directly or via the squad.
Complete the online booking form for your chosen kit.
Arrange a suitable time to collect your kit. To enable us to give you our full support we would prefer this was at a squad meeting (listed in the events section in the Facebook group) but if this is not convenient please let us know and we can arrange an alternative day/place.
Most kits are available for a minimum 4 week loan. This is free of charge. Please make sure that the kits is returned clean as per our instructions on our washing page. If there has been any damage to any nappies please do not worry but bring it to our attention when it’s returned so we can fix or replace it before the next loan.
All kits go through a thorough strip wash before being passed to the next baby.
Please note that we are a self-funded, voluntary group and as such we rely on donations to be able to provide a free nappy library service. Although there is no charge there are several ways you can continue to support us…
Once you start your cloth nappy journey please consider donating any unwanted good quality nappies back to the library to be used in kits.
Consider being a group volunteer and squad mentor, all training is provided along with a great opportunity to make like-minded friends and eat lots of cake!
